Huntington Bayshores Overview
Huntington Bayshore condos are spread out amongst the 400 block of Lake Street in downtown Huntington Beach, a short three-block walk to the ocean, Huntington Beach Pier and Duke’s restaurant. On quiet nights, many residents here say you can hear the roar of the mighty Pacific and its waves as they break on the shore…and that, our friends, makes for some location in sunny California.
There are six three-story contemporary buildings situated within this beautiful coastal community, each with its own address and separate entrance, with a key or code required to enter. Some 159 condominium units consisting of one- and two-bedroom models are spread throughout singe story/one level variants. It is often believed by realty experts in-the-know that Huntington Bayshore set the standards when its condos were built in 1989; they boast three key features that are difficult to find in other California-based condominium units:
- The condos feature single-story, open-concept floor plans
- The units are bright, offering an abundance of light to make them feel larger
- The condos feature huge patios, balconies and decks which offer a plethora of outdoor space
The one-bedroom/one-bathroom models range in size from approximately 850 to 900 square-feet, with living rooms that are spacious with sliding glass doors which open to your very own private outdoor patio. The bedroom in these homes can easily handle a king-sized bedroom set, and offer a great deal of closet space; the two-bedroom/two-bathroom units, meanwhile, were designed with one larger master bedroom and master bathroom, with a second bedroom being smaller with an additional bathroom in the hallway.
Many of the units have vaulted ceilings and sliding glass doors, both in the living room and bedroom, with direct access to the outdoor space. Individual laundry rooms and fireplaces are common, and end units offer less “common walls” which offer more privacy. Furthermore, corner units tend to have larger patios and decks with more outdoor square-footage – both of which add value in price and desirability when selling.
Huntington Bayshore condos are also unique because they have been built above-ground – the entire structure was designed on top of a subterranean parking garage, which can be entered on Pecan Avenue and exited on Atlanta Avenue, nearly three blocks away. Needless to say, there is ample parking for residents and guests, and once parked, you have the option of taking the elevators or the stairs to your unit.
Are you a fan of entertaining friends and family? The clubhouse and pool area boast some incredible amenities, both of which are located across a large greenbelt, away from the housing. There are public restrooms, an outdoor shower and a few barbecues so you can cook, eat and ultimately enjoy the Huntington Beach sunshine.
